Britt, Peters and Associates (Britt Peters), a civil and structural engineering firm based in Greenville, announced a merger with Laurene, Rickher, and Sorrell PC (LRS), a structural engineering firm in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As part of the merger, LRS will officially adopt the Britt Peters name.

“The exceptional team at LRS significantly expands our presence in the Charlotte market and adds a wealth of knowledge and expertise, especially in the Healthcare and K-12 markets, to the Britt Peters portfolio,” the company announced in its website.

The newly-merged firm will have offices in Greenville and Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; Norfolk, Virginia and Charlotte, North Carolina.
