Workers across the country have come out to display warning signs for the Morrison Government: all 15,000 of them (and you can grab your own here!).
From East to West and North to South, workers are showing their support for secure jobs. Under this Government, we see only increased precarious work, rising cost of living and real wage cuts.
Most of the new jobs created under the Morrison Government have been casual and precarious, leaving so many of us in positions of insecurity.
Women are disproportionately affected and have left the workforce during the pandemic due to insecure work. It’s no wonder we’re fed up.
These cost of living and insecure work crises aren’t simply the result of a dodgy budget here or a political slip-up there.
Coalition Governments have walked away from us for nine years, keeping real wages low by design and leaving workers stranded in disaster situations.

Already members earn, on average, $250 more per week than non-union members.
The release of the 2022 first quarter inflation data has confirmed the worst real pay cut for working people this century.

At a time when rampant price increases are decimating family budgets, the ACTU proposed increase is necessary for workers to make ends meet. Not that Morrison gives a stuff.
